Recent collaborations include such artists as Sarah McLachlan, Adele, Josh Groban, Pentatonix, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Diana Ross, Journey, Melissa Etheridge, Weird Al Yankovic, Blue Man Group, Janelle Monáe, Audra McDonald, Hall and Oates, Gloria Estefan, the Indigo Girls, Diana Krall, Itzhak Perlman, Natalie Merchant, Chris Isaak, Pink Martini, Brandi Carlile, The Decemberists, Martina McBride, Josh Ritter, Gloria Gaynor and others.
He has also appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America with Josh Groban and NBC’s “A Very Pentatonix Christmas.” He has served as conductor for national and world-wide tours with Josh Groban, Sarah McLachlan and the Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration. Pepper Live in Las Vegas featuring the band Cheap Trick. He was the assistant conductor and arranger for a production of Sgt. As a conductor, he has led performances with the Boston Pops Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, the Chicago Symphony, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, the Dallas Symphony, the Vancouver Symphony, the Atlanta Symphony, the Baltimore Symphony, the Houston Symphony, the Victoria Symphony and the Seattle Symphony amongst others. Commissions from the Boston Pops Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra highlight and showcase his diverse musical abilities. His music is characterized by vibrant rhythms, passionate melodies, and colorful scoring. He is a fresh voice and a rising name in the music world. Sean O’Loughlin (b.1972) is the Principal Pops Conductor of Symphoria, the exciting new symphony in Syracuse, NY and the newly appointed Principal Pops Conductor of the Victoria Symphony in Victoria, B.C. Other solo concert work includes appearances on stage at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center and with the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. She has spent this last year playing “Lily Craven” in a revamped Broadway bound production of The Secret Garden, working with the creators of the piece, Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman. Regionally she has performed the roles of “Marian” in The Music Man, “Eponine” in Les Miserables, “Crissy” in Hair and “Mary Jane” in Big River. Lizzie has toured the country with shows such as The Addams Family, and Little House on the Prairie, The Musical, starring Melissa Gilbert.
Other New York credits include A Christmas Story (music by Pasek and Paul) and The Most Happy Fella at City Center Encores. She also appeared in the Tony nominated musical, Bright Star, (written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell) after a sold out run at the Kennedy Center. Now based in New York City, Lizzie was most recently seen on Broadway in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock.
Upon leaving Syracuse, she moved to Ann Arbor, MI where she received a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of Michigan under the tutelage of the late opera great, Shirley Verrett. She previously performed with several area arts organizations including The Syracuse Lizzie Klemperer, a Syracuse native is delighted to be back on stage in Central New York.
